Champion

As a Champion you bring health literacy to your community.

You know your community, the people you work with every day. Counseling clients about diabetes, housing, or health insurance. Helping a library patron find just the right book. Teaching students and talking with their families. Listening carefully to members of your church congregation. Hearing people’s stories while you cut their hair.

You don’t need specialized healthcare training to be a health literacy Champion and teach others about living safely in a world changed by COVID-19 .

We offer online and face-to-face courses. All trainings are available in both English and Spanish. Continuing education credits are available for community health workers and EMTs.
